Maggie’s Hoosie opens

  Maggie’s Hoosie is open for its 20th summer season and has recently been refurbished.

  You can take a stroll along the shore with the golf course at one end and the marina at the other.

  There is also seating and picnic facilities to enjoy.

  Maggie’s Hoosie is open Monday to Thursday from 2pm to 4pm.

the Aims of the Forum.

1. To give a voice to Older people

2. Influence decision makers and enlist the aid of members of Community Councils, Local and National Government

3. To provide information by organising speakers on topics relevant to the wellbeing and enjoyment of older people.

4. Organise entertainment and events where older people, carers, helpers and families can all meet together socially.

Tickets will be priced at £8 per person and are available from September 9 at the Fraserburgh Super Saturday event then at R&S Dygas and C&A West.

Block bookings are available for 15 people or more and can be arranged by telephoning Claire on (01346 378448. The production has local talent from Fraserburgh and Peterhead in its cast. The Broch Drama exists to develop and promote community for all ages.

  The fourth Sandy Thain Memorial Tractor and Classic Vehicle Road Run will leave from the Royal British Legion, Strichen, heading to Kininmonth, St Combs, Fraserburgh, Peathill, Boyndlie, New Pitsligo and back to Strichen.

Cinema Club at Robertson Road Resource Centre: Secret Life of Pets

A fortnightly cinema club is taking place every second Wednesday at Robertson Road Resource Centre, Robertson Road Fraserburgh. The film will start at 1:15pm. Our Cinema Club is informal and friendly and there is no charge to watch the film but a small donation can be given to purchase new films.

Our coffee bar is open from 12:45pm and will remain open during the duration of the film. Various snacks can be purchased including hot and cold drinks, biscuits, popcorn, choc-ices, crisps and sweets.

If anyone would like further information about the Cinema Club please do not hesitate to contact us as Robertson Road Resource Centre, Fraserburgh on 01346 515292. Please see over for programme of film shows and we are interested to gain people’s suggestions for the showing of future films. We look forward to seeing you all.
