Fraserburgh AB43 9BD
Continuing the Quartet’s “North-South-East-West” touring project, this concert alludes to the East through Haydn’s “Sunrise” quartet, nicknamed after the glorious rising theme that begins the quartet, as well as by featuring works by one of Eastern Europe’s most eminent composers, Dvořák.
The concert also includes a performance of the Quartet’s recent commission by up-and-coming composer Tom Harrold. ‘Elegy‘ will be performed alongside local young musicians from Fraserburgh Academy.
