St Combs couple light up their house

Willie and Margaret McRobbie will once again light up the front of their property in St Combs with a fantastic Christmas display of lights at 6pm on Saturday, November 30.

Pupils from St Combs Primary School will be carol singing and will officially switch on this year’s display.

The family event is free to attend and there will be tea, coffee, hot chocolate, hot mincemeat pies and crafts for the children.

Sunset at Strathbeg

Head along between 2pm and 4pm to the Loch of Strathbeg to experience the sunset and see the reserve as it winds down for the night.

With large numbers of Pink Footed Geese, Whooper Swans and other wildfowl, who knows what will turn up.

Santa comes to town

Santa will be heading to Fraserburgh for his annual visit and will be taking ashore by the town’s lifeboat.

Two rockets will be fired to mark Santa’s arrival at the harbour and he will arrive at the harbour berth for 10.30am where it is hoped as much folk as possible will be there to welcome him.

Santa’s sleigh will then take him on a tour of the town centre before arriving at Cheers Cafe on Broad Street where he will enter his grotto and welcome children, young and old to see him.

Santa will be there from 11am to 4pm and admission is £7 per child which includes a gift.

Mark your calendars for Saturday June the 24th 2023 from 11.00 till 16.00 . 
There will be plenty to keep you entertained and many opportunities to meet and chat with members of all the emergency services and also a chance to see and meet local groups clubs and businesses who make Fraserburgh unique and special to everyone. 
Join and support your local community in a celebration of all that is good . We will also be running a car wash and selling raffles prior to the open day with all proceeds going to local charities
