Why Suffer in Silence

  Why Suffer in Silence is a person-centred, non-judgemental emotional listening support service for those suffering from depression, anxiety, stress and mental health. The group meets every Friday evening in the JIC building on Fraserburgh’s Albert Street. 

  Meetings take place from 7pm to 8.45pm.

  Anyone who feels they could benefit from the service is invited along for one-to-one or group support. 

  Y Suffer in Silence, a charity based in the old Thomas Walker Hospital on Charlotte Street in Fraserburgh, will be operating its phone lines during the festive season to support those suffering from depression, anxiety, stress and mental health.

  The numbers to call are either 01346 378030 or 01346 378220.

Angling club AGM
Feb 25 @ 2:30 pm

  The Fraserburgh Angling Club AGM will be held at 2.30pm in the Dalrymple Hall.

 All members are welcome to attend and permits will be on sale. Members unable to attend should apply for renewal by post only, sending a SAE and cheque  (same fee as last year) to club secretary James Watson, 11 Maconochie Road, Fraserburgh AB42 8TH.

  Applications  not received by March 28 will automatically lapse. Members can view the agenda and proposed 2018 outings on the club website.

1. To give a voice to Older people

2. Influence decision makers and enlist the aid of members of Community Councils, Local and National Government

3. To provide information by organising speakers on topics relevant to the wellbeing and enjoyment of older people.

4. Organise entertainment and events where older people, carers, helpers and families can all meet together socially.
