  Why Suffer in Silence is a person-centred, non-judgemental emotional listening support service for those suffering from depression, anxiety, stress and mental health. The group meets every Friday evening in the JIC building on Fraserburgh’s Albert Street. 

  Meetings take place from 7pm to 8.45pm.

  Anyone who feels they could benefit from the service is invited along for one-to-one or group support.

  Fraserburgh Baptist Church is holding a movie night at the church on Victoria Street on Saturday, November 25.

  The movie ‘Born to Win’ will be screened at 7pm and is based on the true story of Leon Terblanche who found himself confronted with the question

‘Where is God?’. Born to win shows how God turns the hurt, frustration and emptiness of man into hope, faith and victory and to inspire people to be winners.

the Aims of the Forum.

1. To give a voice to Older people

2. Influence decision makers and enlist the aid of members of Community Councils, Local and National Government

3. To provide information by organising speakers on topics relevant to the wellbeing and enjoyment of older people.

4. Organise entertainment and events where older people, carers, helpers and families can all meet together socially.

Photographer to visit Broch Library

  Photographer Andy Hall has published a new book of his photographs, Aberdeenshire-A New Perspective.

  He will visit Fraserburgh Library on Wednesday, November 29 at 7pm.

  During his visit, Andy will give a talk and slideshow followed by a question with the audience.

  There will also be an opportunity to purchase books signed by the author.

  Entry to this event is free but booking is essential.
