Local Events

Santa will be heading to Fraserburgh for his annual visit and will be taking ashore by the town’s lifeboat.

Two rockets will be fired to mark Santa’s arrival at the harbour and he will arrive at the harbour berth for 10.30am where it is hoped as much folk as possible will be there to welcome him.

Santa’s sleigh will then take him on a tour of the town centre before arriving at Cheers Cafe on Broad Street where he will enter his grotto and welcome children, young and old to see him.

Santa will be there from 11am to 4pm and admission is £7 per child which includes a gift.

Fraserburgh N0rth School will hold its annual Christmas Fayre. It will run from 12 noon to 2pm and again, Santa will be in his grotto ready to meet all the youngsters and hear what they would like him to deliver this year.

Sandhaven & Pitulie Public Hall will host a Chrsitmas Fayre from 12 noon with raffles, music, refreshments and Santa’s grotto (£3.00 per child for a visit)

Fraserburgh North School will host its Christmas Fayre fron 12 noon to 2pm at the school.  Head along and visit Santa in his grotto.  All are welcome

A party night fundraiser will be held at the Ritchie Hall, Strichen, from 6.30pm. Monies raised will go to Mormond Thistle FC and the Ritchie Hall.

The New Aberdour Scottish Women’s Institute meets on the second Wednesday of each month and will be meeting in New Aberdour hall from 7pm to approximately 9.15pm with the theme of ‘A Robin’
