Lonmay Church is holding a Christmas Fair and Buttery Morning in the Community Hall, St Combs on Saturday November 23rd from 10 – 11.30am. Santa will be there along with the usual stalls-cake and candy, produce, raffles, tombola, lucky dip and crafts for kids. Admission £2.50 for adults. Primary aged children £1.

Willie and Margaret McRobbie will once again light up the front of their property in St Combs with a fantastic Christmas display of lights at 6pm on Saturday, November 30.
Pupils from St Combs Primary School will be carol singing and will officially switch on this year’s display.
The family event is free to attend and there will be tea, coffee, hot chocolate, hot mincemeat pies and crafts for the children.

Crimond House Care Home will hold its Christmas Fayre at 1.30pm with free entry. There will be raffles, lucky squares, various stalls and not forgetting Santas grotto.

A Kidz Christmas party/disco will be held from 2pm to 4.30pm in Fraserburgh Leisure Centre in aid of Logan’s fund.
This promises to be a fun-filled party with music, dancing, games and lots of prizes.
There will be hot food and ice cream for the kids and tea/coffee and a fancy piece for the adults.
There will be lucky dips, tombola, glitter, tattoos and face painting, sweet stalls, raffles for prizes and raffles for a big Christmas hamper, as well as guest character appearances.
Head along between 2pm and 4pm to the Loch of Strathbeg to experience the sunset and see the reserve as it winds down for the night.

With large numbers of Pink Footed Geese, Whooper Swans and other wildfowl, who knows what will turn up.

The Gin Fayre : Festive Night Market will be held in The Dalrymple Hall & Arts Centre at 6.30pm. Jam packed with different distilleries with samples for you to enjoy, there will be local producers, makers and creators and food stands, giving you the perfect opportunity to do a little bit of Christmas shopping – and do it all with a gin in hand!
Standard ticket prices (plus welcome cocktail and Night Market guide and samples) costs £9, with early bird tickets at £7.20. Tickets are available from www.tickettailor.com
Santa will be heading to Fraserburgh for his annual visit and will be taking ashore by the town’s lifeboat.
Two rockets will be fired to mark Santa’s arrival at the harbour and he will arrive at the harbour berth for 10.30am where it is hoped as much folk as possible will be there to welcome him.
Santa’s sleigh will then take him on a tour of the town centre before arriving at Cheers Cafe on Broad Street where he will enter his grotto and welcome children, young and old to see him.
Santa will be there from 11am to 4pm and admission is £7 per child which includes a gift.
Fraserburgh North School will host its Christmas Fayre fron 12 noon to 2pm at the school. Head along and visit Santa in his grotto. All are welcome
A party night fundraiser will be held at the Ritchie Hall, Strichen, from 6.30pm. Monies raised will go to Mormond Thistle FC and the Ritchie Hall.
