Come along to the Fraserburgh Blue Light Festival. 

a family friendly event suitable for all ages. 

 

There will be a wide range of emergency service related exhibitors including 

Police Scotland 
Fire Scotland 
Scottish Ambulance Service 

Alongside these exhibitors, there will be a selection of interactive activities for children to enjoy and a variety of food exhibitors. 

there will also be a strongman competition.

Come along and join us in this FREE event open to all.
There will be Children’s Activities provided by GLO and Musical Seedlings.
Craft Session with Isobel Gregory.
Soundbath Session by Crystal Sanctuary Holistic Therapies.
Live music by RBL Pipe Band and Village Voices Choir.
Lots of stalls by local community groups and organisation’s.
Artwork designed by local nursery pupils on display.
Broch Community First Responders will be teaching CPR.
There will also be FREE taster sports sessions available to try outdoors, Fraserburgh Football Club in the Community will have free football for P1-4 11am-12pm and P5-7 12:30pm-1:30pm at James Ramsay Park.
Women’s Walking Football sessions will be available 12pm-1pm at Kessock Park Astro Football Pitch.

Soon to be back for another open day at Fraserburgh Fire Station. 
Mark your calendars for Saturday June the 24th 2023 from 11.00 till 16.00 . 
There will be plenty to keep you entertained and many opportunities to meet and chat with members of all the emergency services and also a chance to see and meet local groups clubs and businesses who make Fraserburgh unique and special to everyone. 
Join and support your local community in a celebration of all that is good . We will also be running a car wash and selling raffles prior to the open day with all proceeds going to local charities  
More details to follow with details of the programme and also details for any stall holders who would like to attend on the  day.

Childsmile Oral health drop-in

Your local Childsmile team will be at Fraserburgh Library on Thursday 22nd of February from 10am until 1pm for an informal and relaxed drop in session.
They will be providing toothbrushing advice and support, some free toothbrushing packs and they will be available to answer any questions concerning your family’s oral health, as well as having some fun things to do for the kids. 🦷🪥✨️

David Rennie will be with us on Thursday 6th June for a talk on 10 years in Fraserburgh from 1900 to 1999. What shops, folk and clubs were on the go then?

Come along at 2pm to find out and have a good old blether too.

Jackie Ross from Doric Books will be with us on Saturday the 8th June, 11.30am for story telling in Doric from the Doric books, great selection for kids, a great way to introduce your Bairns to Doric.

Shane Strachan will be entertaining us with extracts from the ‘more older audience’ new book DWAMS and discussing the content, he’ll also be happy to answer any questions and read a little more of his poems to you.  Shane will be with us from 2pm.
